FAMILY AND CAREGIVER SUPPORTS
CARE Connectors and Family Advocates provide FASD-informed, lifespan support services for Caregivers and their individuals impacted by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) or possible FASD and families where the parent or caregiver identifies as having FASD or possible FASD themselves and are seeking support. Through a relationship-based approach, Connectors and Family Advocates guide families using the CANFASD Towards Healthy Outcomes framework, offering personalized support across all stages of life.
ADULT SUPPORTS
The CARE Connectors in the Adult Stream provide FASD-informed, lifespan-oriented services for adults with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) or possible FASD. Our approach is rooted in holistic support, recognizing the interconnectedness of psychosocial and economic stability in improving overall quality of life.
Through meaningful relationship-building and collaboration with community agencies and natural support, we empower individuals to pursue client-centered goals that foster healthy outcomes. We support FASD centered capacity-building across all of life’s domains, including housing, financial security, physical and mental health, community connection, and healthy relationships.
Our team is trained to understand and adapt to the diversity and elevated support needs that can be experienced in FASD, offering flexible, compassionate, and informed support that evolves with each individual’s needs throughout their lifespan.
