Aventa Centre of Excellence for Women with Addictions
FASD Transitions Program

Provides individualized addiction treatment with FASD-informed supports, including case management, counselling, emotional regulation strategies, and enhanced navigation support for women, particularly those who are pregnant
Calgary John Howard Society
Extended FASD Support Program | Clients Served: 70
Supports adults with FASD involved in the justice system across key domains including justice advocacy, financial stability, assessment referrals, and wellness.
In Reach Transitional Mentorship Program | Clients Served: 60
Provides transitional mentorship to reduce returns to custody and support successful community reintegration.

Soksipaitapiisin Indigenous Restorative Justice Program and Case Management Table Clients Served (2025): 67
Support the program with specialized supports to assist with participants of the program who have FASD and/or neurodiversity. The FASD Community Resource and Knowledge Coordinator enhances the level of support to those who fall between the cracks of the system. Assist case managers with accessing resources for proper assessment and diagnosis, guidance and strategy to best meet the needs of FASD and neurodiverse individuals.

Program goal is “To improve outcomes for individuals and families affected by FASD through comprehensive diagnosis, community-based prevention, and coordinated lifelong supports.” The new name for the Sikiska FASD program is Saapaatssi’moh’sookoi (It Is For Everyone)
