Land Acknowledgement & Commitment

My Potentia respectfully acknowledges that we live and work in Moh’kinsstis, on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 Nations, including the Blackfoot Confederacy of Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani First Nations, the Tsuut’ina Nation, and the Îyârhe Nakoda Nations of Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Goodstoney. We also honour the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.

We recognize that this land has been cared for by Indigenous Peoples since time immemorial. We acknowledge the lasting impacts of colonial systems on Indigenous individuals, families, and communities, including inequities that continue to shape health, access, and opportunity.

As an organization dedicated to nurturing potential and strengthening community wellbeing, we are committed to doing our work in ways that are accountable, relationship-based, and grounded in respect, supporting pathways forward informed by both Indigenous and Western knowledge systems.
